Membership Benefits

Membership of EFCAM will provides Member Organisations and their members with access to the decision making processes of the European Union regarding health and professional practice. This includes access to the European Parliament and the European Commission.

EFCAM member organisations are be able to participate in determining the European policies and laws governing the recognition of CAM modalities and the right of practitioners to practice.

Members are able to network with the other CAM organisations on matters of importance to professionals such as European standards of professional training.

EFCAM is a Federation of European Federations of specific CAM modalities and national CAM umbrella organisations. Its principal objective is to achieve equality of access to CAM throughout Europe.

Mission Statement

We want to make sure that you, the citizen, can have access to a regulated and protected trade, so that you are only offered the highest standard of services. We want to make sure that you, the practitioner, have your right to work recognised, protected and enshrined. We want to make sure that each European government is well informed and can take a structured approach to the regulation of CAM, so that CAM can be better implemented as a supportive body to the existing medical field.
